Boracay is a small island located in the province of Aklan in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. The island is situated approximately 315 km south of Manila and 2 km off the northwest tip of Panay Island.
Boracay has a total land area of 10.32 km2 and is shaped like a dog bone, with a long, narrow strip of land running 7 km long and 1 km wide at its widest point. The island is divided into three barangays (villages): Balabag, Manoc-Manoc, and Yapak.
